West Ham will not be recalling Freddie Potts from his loan spell at Portsmouth, it’s been advised by ExWHUEmployee.
As reported earlier, the club were considering bringing the Academy player back from his spell on the south coast early, however Graham Potter is understood to have decided to allow him to complete his loan deal.
“West Ham were considering recalling Freddie Potts to the club from his loan spell at Portsmouth,” stated Ex on The West Ham Way Patreon. “These talks happened last week but the manager decided that he will keep the player on loan at Portsmouth where he is getting regular action.
“The deadline to recall him has now expired so the player will remain at Portsmouth until the end of the season.
“West Ham are still looking at midfield targets and are expected to make another move for Dutch midfielder Banzuzi.”
