West Ham are continuing efforts to secure a new main sponsor with talks with Amazon developing, its been reported by ExWHUEmployee.

Following the announcement by the Premier League that betting companies would no longer be able to be the main shirt sponsors of clubs from the 2026/27 season, the club have been in talks to secure a new sponsor, with our current partner Betway possibly changing to a sleeve agreement.

The rule changes have prompted West Ham to explore avenues of a new sponsor, with the London Stadium naming rights also appearing to be part of the package on offer, with Ex advising on The West Ham Way Podcast that talks are progressing with Amazon.

Amazon is considered one of the Big Five American technology companies and is recognised by many as one of the largest in the world, with owner Jeff Bezos known as one of the wealthiest at £250bn net worth.

Although it must be stressed that no agreements are in place and talks are still at an early stage surrounding a potential sponsorship arrangement, its been reported by Ex that a naming rights and shirts sponsor package are being discussed.

“The club are doing a lot of work behind the scenes, with Amazon understood to be considering a potential deal to be the clubs partner, with shirt sponsorship and stadium naming rights, which could potentially be a huge move from the club.”

Ex will keep fans up to date on the progress of the potential deal as things progress.
