West Ham are progressing with talks for RB Leipzig striker Andre Silva, it’s been exclusively reported first by ExWHUEmployee on our Patreon.
The club have identified a new striker as one of the priority moves this January transfer window, should Graham Potter feel they would improve the squad.
There have to date been many strikers linked with a potential move to east London, however our insider Ex has maintained that Silva was a deal that was more likely than others to conclude.
Although the Portuguese international has been regarded as a back-up while other options are explored, it appears that progress has been made by the club in talks today.
The club however are still continuing talks with others, despite progress made on talks with Silva and his representatives.
“West Ham have been in talks with Andre Silva today and talks are said to have progressed well,” stated Ex on The West Ham Way Patreon. “He is an option that we have said might be the easiest one to secure.
“The club will make a decision whether to go ahead with it soon compared to other options.”
Ex will keep fans up to date on the situation as it develops further.
