Tim Steidten is to leave his role as Technical Director, with ExWHUEmployee providing an update.

It has been widely expected for some time that Steidten would be departing east London, as the clubs move for Kyle Macaulay effectively confirming the club would part ways with the former Bayer Leverkusen man.

“As we have exclusively been covering for a long time on the podcasts and Patreon, Tim Steidten will leave his role,” stated our club insider. “The club have decided to remain quiet on the exit but it is thought that this is all but agreed now.

“The club had stripped back all his power and effectively replaced him with Kyle Macauley from Chelsea (at a cost of around £1m-£1.5m) who has already began work on transfers. Tim’s brother Moritz is expected to also follow him out of the club.

“Maximilian Hahn who is Head of technical recruitment & analysis will remain at the club working with Dylan Curnell, who is First Team Recruitment Analyst alongside Kyle Macauley who is Head of Recruitment.”
