West Ham produced an excellent display at Aston Villa which has fans believing again in east London.
It’s been a tough season thus far for all connected with the club, however despite only being at the club less than a month, Graham Potter is putting the misery under Julen Lopetegui already in the distant memory.
West Ham look a side already adapting well to the new system and message from the Head Coach and his team, with the likes of Lucas Paqueta, Edson Alvarez and Mohammed Kudus, looking back to their best selves, with Potter breathing confidence into the club.
Following the performance at Villa Park, The West Ham Way Podcast duo Dave Walker and ExWHUEmployee both were understandably delighted with what unfolded, with a real sense that a bright future is ahead under the new man in charge.
“A fantastic second half performance,” stated Walker. “Man for man, I thought they were excellent and were unlucky not to leave with three points.
“To see us control the game, create chances and work hard for each other makes me feel positive about the future under Graham Potter”
Ex agreed with his co-host, adding that once Potter has players back from injury plus some additions this window, the club can start to look up the table again.
“I thought it was a very good performance,” added Ex. “Considering how many players we had out they did very well and I thought could have won it at the end.
“Things are looking good for Potter and our future and with players returning and hopefully a couple of new additions I think we will be in a strong position.”
