West Ham have signed Josh Landers from Hibernian, it has been reported by ExWHUEmployee.

The 17 year old striker, who has represented Scotland at U16 level, has been on trial in east London – as was exclusively reported by Ex.

It’s understood the club have been impressed by the forward, who turns 18 next month, with a contract offered which the player has penned as he looks to continue his progression towards the first team at West Ham.

“We can confirm however that we have infact signed one forward but this is for the Academy,” stated Ex on The West Ham Way Patreon.

“West Ham have completed the move for Josh Landers from Hibs. We exclusively revealed that the player has been on trial at the club and it seems like we have decided to complete the move. This should be announced in the next few days.”

West Ham are continuing to work on strengthening the squad this January transfer window, with Ex to provide updates as things develop.
