West Ham appear set to complete a loan deal for Evan Ferguson, it has been reported by ExWHUEmployee.
The Brighton striker has been a top target for the club this January, with Graham Potter eager to link up with his former forward who he handed his debut to.
Following weeks of negotiations, Brighton have now agreed to a straight loan it is understood, however our insider is awaiting clarity on the situation.
“It appears Brighton have finally agreed to sanction Evan Ferguson’s move to West Ham on a loan after their game against Nottingham Forest yesterday,” stated Ex on The West Ham Way Patreon.
“Negotiations have been ongoing for weeks now as we exclusively revealed at the start of the window and all possible deals were considered. A medical has been booked and the club are estimating that the deal will be completed tomorrow afternoon.
“We are waiting official confirmation from the top source at the club that this is the case, where we will check if it is just a straight loan deal or whether there is an option to buy. At the moment the deal seems to be a straight loan.
“West Ham are also hoping to push through the deal for Daniel Cummings from Celtic too but this would be likely to go through in the summer on a pre-contractual agreement.”
Ex has further advised that Eli Junior Kroupi remains a target for the club also.
