West Ham have reportedly rejected a huge offer for their star player.
Although it’s clear that West Ham need yet another rebuild after the failures of Julen Lopetegui and Tim Steidten, funding it may be more of a struggle now the Rice money has been spent.
Fortunately, the club have some extremely valuable assets on their hands, with Mohammed Kudus probably being worth the most.
It’s been reported that Al Nassr put in a substantial bid in the final days of the transfer window for the winger that was swiftly ejected.
Selling Kudus with barely any time left in the window would not have made sense, especially when it’s considerably harder to sign players in January.
Kudus is unlikely to stay at West Ham past the Summer in my opinion, but his rumoured £85 million release clause should be what the Hammers hold out for.
