West Ham are highly unlikely to sign Jonathan David in the summer transfer window.
Despite consistently being linked to David for a number of years, its understood that the chances of landing the prolific striker are standing at next to none.
The club are very much known to be in the market for a top striker on a permanent basis this summer, with Evan Ferguson arriving on loan until the end of the season – who may be the key target should his spell be successful.
However, a move for Jonathan David has all but been ruled out, with the club more likely to be outmuscled by the elite across Europe who are vying for his signature.
“Some of the biggest clubs in Europe are sniffing around him,” it was reported on Claret & Hugh. “He has had multiple offers and can choose from some of the biggest clubs. Arsenal, Chelsea, Man Utd, PSG, both Milan clubs, Juventus, and Dortmund have all been in touch, so West Ham have no chance. The player will likely move to Barcelona.”
