British starlet is desperate to join West Ham in the coming months.

West Ham’s striker woes may be temporarily solved (assuming things go well with Evan Ferguson), but they’ll be back to square one in the Summer. With there being no buy option in the deal with Brighton, they desperately need to start thinking about the future.

Although he almost certainly won’t be an immediate answer to their problems, the Hammers are said to be edging closer to a deal for Daniel Cummings.

Celtic turned down the Irons’ January bids for the youngster, but he will be available for free, bar a small compensation fee, in the Summer.

Not only are West Ham keen to get the deal over the line, but reports have since emerged claiming that Cummings has his heart set on East London.

There’s no doubt that the increased chances youngsters like Scarles and Orford have received lately would’ve been huge in helping the Scotsman decide his future, and hopefully he will be able to prove himself at the London Stadium too.
