West Ham crush Arsenal’s title hopes for a third year in a row with an immense 1-0 win.

Admittedly, Arsenal were not at their best. However, that does not take away the performance of the whole West Ham squad.

From minute one, it was clear every player was up to the task. They looked well drilled and disciplined, a sign of what Graham Potter has been building towards.

Not only is this a significant win in terms of damaging Arsenal’s title charge once again, but it also represents a potentially huge turning point in Graham Potter’s time as West Ham manager. We’ve seen promising signs becoming more prominent, bar the Brentford game, and it looked like it finally all clicked. While playing that defensive against lower teams isn’t what we want, the foundation of a solid defence is clearly there.
