West Ham’s Michail Antonio continues to defy all odds with miraculous recovery.

Surviving a car crash that bad is impressive enough, being able to walk just weeks later is even more impressive, but being able to potentially play Premier League football within the same season is inhuman.

Michail Antonio has never been one to stick to the mould though. He’s had a career full of odd-defying moments and achievements, so it really shouldn’t come as a surprise that his recovery has gone so well.

He’s been out in Dubai working on his recovery recently, with videos showing him already in the gym. However, recent reports have suggested he’s much further along in his recovery than anyone would have expected.

Unbelievably, he’s apparently already running again, and has returned to East London to continue his rehabilitation with the club’s medical staff.

While it takes an insane amount of luck to be in the position he’s in following the accident, it also takes massive amounts of dedication, hard work, and mental resilience. Just a couple of months ago we thought we’d seen the Hammers’ record goal scorer play for the last time in claret and blue, yet it may not have even have been the last time this season.
