Struggling Hammer could be on his way to Italian giants this Summer.

Ollie Scarles has been a revelation at West Ham. For years we’ve been hearing about how the current crop of academy players has the potential to be special, and Scarles is the first one to really break into the first team consistently.

While there were promising signs under Lopetegui, he’s really managed to prove his worth since the arrival of Graham Potter.

However, his recent breakthrough means that Emerson has been sidelined; a player who seems to be struggling to adapt to the Potter system.

Although he’s said to be reacting to the challenge quite positively, it’s been reported that the Italian could return to his home country in the Summer with Juventus showing keen interest.

If the club can find a player to cover both left and right back then, given his age, it would make sense for the Hammers to cash in rather than diminish their returns.
