Freddie Potts has put pen to paper on a new long term contract, it’s been reported by ExWHUEmployee.
The Academy graduate midfielder, who is currently enjoying a successful loan at Championship club Portsmouth, has committed his future ahead of what could well be a significant season for him in east London.
Reporting exclusively on The West Ham Way Patreon, club insider ExWHUEmployee confirmed the excellent news for all connected with the club.
“We are delighted to confirm that talented midfield player Freddie Potts has signed a new long term contract at the club,” stated Ex.
“Son of West Ham legend Steve Potts, Freddie has had another successful loan spell this season at Championship side Portsmouth. This follows on from being named player of the year at Wycombe Wanderers last season.”
Ex stressed that Mark Noble has played a key role in getting the new deal for Potts over the line, in what is seen as another hugely positive step for our Academy of Football, with Potts being the latest to commit his long term future to the club he’s grown at.
