West Ham fall short at Wolves with abysmal performance.

It’s been a season that can’t be over any sooner from a West Ham perspective. Across the campaign, there’s been very few moments for the Hammers to truly celebrate with the side now just going through the motions.

Unfortunately, despite defensive improvements, things are still dismal under Graham Potter. While his vision can be seen, it’s evident that he needs time to get in the players he wants for his system.

Despite bringing in Evan Ferguson, the Irons’ attacking display during their 1-0 defeat to Wolves was awful, managing just one shot on target.

Strand Larsen’s first-half strike was enough to secure all three points for Wolves, to keep the Hammer’s poor form going.

West Ham are extremely lucky they’ve got the individual quality to have put a sizable gap between them and the drop. The football they’ve played this season is unacceptable, and Potter has got a lot to prove when he’s had the chance to have a full Summer window and preseason.
