West Ham find themselves unlucky not to walk away with all three points after an impressive second-half against Bournemouth.
Although they have next to nothing to play for this season, the remaining games are absolutely vital to Graham Potter. Not only does it give him a chance to experiment with different tactics but it also shows who he should keep and who he should sell, with each game providing insight.
While the change to a back four certainly helped West Ham be more attacking against Bournemouth, it was the visitors who took the lead. An awful Areola fumble meant Evanilson could score a tap-in in the 38th minute.
Changes shortly after half-time saw Fullkrug make his return from injury, and what a return it was! The German caused all sorts of problems for the Bournemouth defence and he managed to equalise seven minutes after coming on.
Things quickly got better as Bowen headed home a beautiful Kudus cross to give his side the leads.
Unfortunately, with 11 minutes to go, the Cherries equalised through another Evanilson tap-in. It’s a tough one to take given that it came directly from a free-kick that should never have been given. In fact, the referee was abysmal for the last 20 minutes or so.
Once again there were plenty of positives to take, but Fullkrug and Guilherme’s cameos were definitely the stand outs. If they continue like this, they could be massive players for Potter.
