Key West Ham player could be sold this Summer.

With expiring contracts and underperforming players, it’s fair to assume that there will be a lot of departures from West Ham this Summer. In fact, very few will be immune to being sold if the club receive a good enough offer.

One player that is reported to be on clubs’ radars is Edson Alvarez. The Mexican midfielder has, overall, been a good player for the club, and he’s attracted interest from Borussia Dortmund in particular.

Interestingly, Dortmund came incredibly close to signing Alvarez just before he joined the Hammers, meaning the relationship is already there to potentially push for a move.

Although it would take a sizable sum, the Irons should definitely consider selling Alvarez. While he has some outstanding qualities, he can be an absolute liability. He constantly looks like he could be sent off, and his performances are inconsistent at best. With how poor the midfields been as a whole, the holding mid position is one they could definitely improve upon.
