West Ham urged to accept a huge offer for a star player in the Summer transfer window.

As Graham Potter’s first Summer transfer window approaches, it’s clear that there’s are plenty of areas that need to be improved upon.

With how the squads been performing, there’s very few players that will be immune to offers.

While just a year ago it would’ve been considered a bargain, West Ham will be extremely lucky to get anywhere near the £80 million release clause of Mohammed Kudus. However, reports have claimed that Saudi clubs may be willing to pay that.

If that is the case, former Everton chief Keith Wyness has urged the Hammers to accept the bid in a heartbeat. “Since the Rice transfer, they’ve had the failed experiment with Lopetegui – they’ve spent money and it hasn’t worked,” he explained to Football Insider.

“I think selling Kudus could be a pretty good deal – they’d be amazed to get the sort of fee Saudi can offer for him.”

“I believe they’re talking about putting in a bid for £80-85million – I think West Ham should be snapping their hand off for that money. They’ve got to get the squad rebalanced for Graham Potter. I don’t think you’re going to get this valuation for Kudus elsewhere.”

It’s hard to disagree based on form. While the potential is still there, he’s regressed massively since last season. Realistically, even £50 million is too much for him based on form.
