West Ham have identified players of serious interest ahead of this summer, with ExWHUEmployee reporting on the situation.
The club are heading into a hugely important summer transfer window, with new leadership in Graham Potter and his Head of Recruitment Kyle Macaulay set to oversee a significant overhaul.
As has been advised previously, David Sullivan will be taking the reigns in terms of negotiations, however the identifying of targets is now taking shape, with Ex reporting on players which are now being targeted.
“As is with every transfer window, the club are in the process of identifying the key targets, with scouts currently watching a number of players as the list is narrowed down.
“We believe the club are impressed with and very keen on Porto attacking midfielder Rodrigo Mora, who is 17 and also plays for Portugal U21 side.
“The club also had scouts at a recent Porto and Benfica match, with Greek international striker Vangelis Pavlidis understood to have impressed, while Arthur Cabral is also being monitored.”
Ex also advised that there is serious interest in Samuel Omorodion of Porto, however there is expected to be fierce competition for his signature. While it’s expected he’ll command a high fee.
“We also believe that the club are looking at Red Star Belgrade & Serbia midfielder Andrija Maksimović, who is also 17 years of age.”
Ex also clarified and confirmed that despite recent media speculation surrounding the future of Jarrod Bowen, the club have no interest whatsoever in entertaining any offers for the Hammers captain.
He is not for sale and will not be departing the club.
