West Ham have identified a young Senegal international as a target for the club, its been reported by ExWHUEmployee.

It’s anticipated that the club will once again oversee a significant overhaul of the squad in the upcoming transfer window, as Graham Potter and his Head of Recruitment build the squad ahead of next season where expectations on a far more successful campaign are expected.

The recruitment team are working to establish the list of top targets for the club to focus on at the end of the season, with ExWHUEmployee reporting that 16 year old Senegal winger Amara Diouf has been identified.

It’s understood that the club are impressed and could well look to tempt the young Génération Foot to east London to continue his development.

“We have been advised that we are looking at Amara Diouf, who at only 16 has already make his debut for his national team Senegal,” stated Ex on The West Ham Way Podcast.

“Diouf made the jump from the nations U17’s side having scored 8 goals in 10 appearances from the wing, highlighting the talent his possesses at such a young age.”

It appears there is a real focus on brining younger players to West Ham this summer, with Ex already reporting that the Championship market is one the club are paying attention too also.

Furthermore, as has been reported by Ex previously, the club are to make a formal offer to sign Kyle Walker-Peters this summer, with the former target a free agent from to-be-relegated Southampton.
