West Ham are anticipating a summer move from Everton to sign Tomas Soucek, it has been reported by ExWHUEmployee.

The Czech international has been a key figure in east London since his arrival in 2020, which was initially a short-term loan from Slavia Prague, however was made permanent following his impact under David Moyes’ at the time.

Since then, Soucek has gone on to be a cult hero at West Ham, with the midfielder playing a pivotal role in the club securing the Europa Conference League trophy in 2023.

However, with the player now turning 30 and with former boss David Moyes now at Everton, its been reported that the former Hammers boss will make a move to bring Soucek to Everton in the upcoming summer transfer window.

“We understand that Everton and Moyes have made Soucek a top target this summer,” stated Ex on The West Ham Way Podcast. “I have spoken with an Everton insider, who also strongly feels that this is the case, and a move for his signature is expected.

“With our finances needing bulking up ahead of a busy summer, the club could well see this as an opportunity to bring in funds, especially with Soucek still being able to command a reasonable fee.”

Ex also advised that Leeds United are showing a keen interest in Soucek and too could well make a move to sign him, should they achieve promotion. Leeds are also showing an interest in Danny Ings as too are Celtic.

Everton are not understood to be as keen on Vladimir Coufal as has been reported previously, however Fulham could well make a move as they wanted to land the Czech teammate of Soucek back in January.
