West Ham are set to review a change to a massively unpopular system that would hugely benefit fans.
Fans of Premier League clubs are consistently being made to feel like they’re nothing more than consumers. Almost everything that’s changed over the past decade has been negative for match going fans.
While at West Ham the main change has been with moving to the London Stadium, there have been some other unpopular decisions which do nothing but frustrate.
One of these annoyances is the fact that the club only allow money made from the ticket exchange to be club cash. Not only is it given in club cash, but the things that this can be spent on are extremely limited.
Fortunately, Claret and Hugh has claimed that the club are set to review this and they could potentially allow tickets to be sold in exchange for actual money.
If this change does come into place, it would be a great start to making season ticket holders feel more valued by the higher ups. The only issue is that it may encourage some to attend less games, opening up the opportunity for more tourists/opposition fans to sit in the home end.
