West Ham are in the process of identifying key targets for this summer transfer window, with ExWHUEmployee providing an update.

It’s been widely reported that the club are set to proceed with a major squad overhaul this summer, as Graham Potter looks to shape the squad to one that fits his vision for West Ham.

Reporting on The West Ham Way Podcast, our insider ExWHUEmployee has reported that there is a clear and big interest in the Danish league, with scouts operating there at present as targets are identified.

“We had scouts who were in attendance at the Copenhagen derby of Brondby versus Copenhagen,” stated our insider.

“We like Rodrigo Huescas a Mexican right back for Copenhagen. But the clear target is Mathias Kvistgaarden of Brøndby who is a 23 year old forward.

“He has an impressive scoring record of circa 1 in 3 for Brondby and also plays for the Denmark U21’s.

“We really like the Danish league and think there is a high success rate of players moving from there and doing well. Others include: Franculino Djú at Midtjylland, Ousmane Diao and Darío Osorio.

“We also are looking at Sindre Walle, Egeli Nordsjaelland and Lucas Høgsberg. However don’t be surprised if other Danish based players come up as players of interest.”
