Graham Potter has admitted there was once again concern over the fitness of Jean-Clair Todibo.
The French defender, who has been plagued with issues since his arrival from Nice last summer, was withdrawn in the 80th minute in the match against Spurs on Sunday, which has been a running theme for his time so far in east London.
The West Ham boss admitted that there was a worry surrounding his hamstring, which saw Vladimir Coufal introduced for the latter stages of the draw with our rivals.
“Todibo has had a tight hamstring this week so we were worried about him towards the back end of the game,” said Potter. “I thought he was doing well. Him, Aaron and Jarrod have got a nice relationship down there I think.”
It marked another somewhat disappointing weekend of football for West Ham fans, with Potters side again failing to grab a much-needed win, with many feeling Spurs were there for the taking on Sunday.
“You can talk about fine lines and fine margins,” Potter told the clubs Official Website. “We’ve had performances away at Liverpool or Brighton that you think you could have got something more from them. So more points from those games and others then make things a little bit better than what it is now but we are where we are.
“We have to stick together as we’ve tried to do all through and the players have done that. It isn’t easy when you haven’t won for the time that we haven’t won at a Club like this, with the expectation that it is, to keep things moving forward or to keep things solid and together.”
