West Ham board give surprising reason for why the club is performing poorly.

Any West Ham fan will be delighted to see the back of this season. For many, it’s the least enjoyable time they’ve had supporting the club and the disconnect they feel is concerning.

Many people have been blamed for the abysmal campaign. Some pin it on Tim Steidten for poor recruitment, others blame Julen Lopetegui for how he destroyed the foundations which had been built, while almost everyone puts at least a bit of the responsibility on the board. But who do the owners hold accountable?

Well, shockingly, reports have claimed that they still believe it’s all down to David Moyes, despite him leaving a year ago.

While the decline obviously started under Moyes, it’s hard to pin much of the blame on him. If recruitment had been successful, and the board hadn’t cheated out by appointing Lopetegui, then it’s unlikely we’d be in this mess,
