West Ham are closely monitoring Nigerian international Raphael Onyedika ahead of the transfer window, it has been reported by ExWHUEmployee.

As was published yesterday, our club insider revealed that the club have identified Switzerland midfielder Ardon Jashari as a target, however its been further reported by Ex that there is also an interest in his Brugge teammate Onyedika.

The 24-year-old defensive midfielder, who is understood to have attracted the interest of a whole host of clubs across Europe, is a player admired by Graham Potter and his recruitment team.

“Another player from Club Brugge who is a potential target again with a lot of competition, is Nigerian intentional defensive midfielder Raphael Onyedika,” stated Ex on The West Ham Way Podcast.

“It is still early days but the club are currently in the process of getting the key targets identified ahead of what is anticipated to be a very busy summer transfer window.

Ex also advised that Mario Stroeykens of Anderlecht is another Potter and his Head of Recruitment Kyle Macaulay have noted as a player of interest, with him being on the clubs radar for some time.
