Vladimir Coufal wants to stay in England after it was announced he will leave West Ham United on a free transfer this summer.
Coufal has had an excellent time at West Ham United, a crucial player under David Moyes, and he knows exactly what it means to play for the club.
However, everything good comes to an end; it was announced this week that the Czechia full-back will leave the club upon the expiry of his contract at the club.
However, it isn’t all bad news for the Coufal family on the West Ham contract front. Vladimir’s son Niclas has just signed for the West Ham academy.
This means Coufal would like to stay in the Premier League, rather than move elsewhere, which would probably mean his son can no longer play for the Academy of Football.
Leeds United and Fulham are reportedly interested in a move for the 32-year-old. The latter made approaches for the defender in January, but they were rejected.
A move to Fulham would make the most sense for Coufal and his family, or who knows, maybe the Hammers will have a U-turn and offer Coufal a contract after his impressive performance in the 2-0 win over Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday.
