Graham Potter has dropped the biggest indication yet that Tomas Soucek has a place in his plans for next season.
There has been much speculation at present surrounding the future of the Czech international, with clear interest from the likes of Everton and Leeds as we head into the summer transfer window
Despite the noise, our insider ExWHUEmployee advised that the club has not informed the player he’s no longer required, with Graham Potter now sharing his thoughts on Soucek as a West Ham player.
“He’s been a fantastic signing for the Club,” said Potter when speaking to the press ahead of our match with Nottingham Forest tomorrow, as reported by the clubs Official Website. “He’s brilliant in the boxes and chips in with vital goals. He’s always 100 per cent, and he’s been brilliant to work with.”
The visit of Forest sees West Ham play our final home fixture of this tough season, with many hoping a positive and result and performance can breathe further belief ahead of such a huge summer for the club.
“The most important relationship at a Club is the one between the team and the supporters. That’s something we need to improve, because results haven’t been good enough,” added Potter. “We’ll do it to the best of our ability on Sunday, and going forward.
“We’ve got two games to go, and we’re focusing on Forest now, which will be a really good last game at home. They’ll be a good opponent, but we want to win.”
