West Ham players past and present show appreciation for legend.

After 11 years of service, Aaron Cresswell will no longer be a West Ham player past the end of the season.

Throughout the club’s history, there’s been very few left-backs as consistent and talented as the Scouser.

Not only is he an experienced and popular member of the squad, but he’s a real leader who will be sorely missed.

Just how much of an impact he’s had can be seen by the waves of appreciation from teammates under his goodbye post on social media.

Jarrod Bowen showed his love by saying “some guy” while Lucas Paqueta simply called him a “legend”.

However, it’s not just current Hammers who wanted to show Cresswell their appreciation, with Declan Rice writing: “what a player, even better person”.

Meanwhile, Pablo Fornals reinforced Paqueta’s comment by labelling his former colleague a “West Ham legend”.
