Talented striker attends London Stadium ahead of potential move to West Ham.

For the better part of a decade, West Ham have failed to sign any sort of strong competition/replacement for Michail Antonio.

While the Jamaican has been by far the club’s best striker in the Premier League era, they’re long overdue a new, younger forward to take over the No.9 spot.

Historically, they’ve tended to sign foreign players with a decent goal scoring record, reports have claimed that they are looking to switch up their approach this Summer.

Daniel Cummings has had an incredible season at youth level in Scotland and in Europe, and he made his Champions League debut for Celtic earlier in the campaign.

Given that he’s available on a free transfer, and that he’s had interest from many top clubs, it would be a great signing. Fortunately, it looks likely to happen as the 19-year-old was spotted at the London Stadium for the Hammers game against Nottingham Forest.

Obviously, he’s incredibly raw but the ceiling for him is so high that it’s a no-brainer.
