West Ham disappointing in win against Ipswich in the final game of the season.
It’s been a tough season being a West Ham fan. Bar relegation, everything that could’ve gone wrong has.
Whether or not you think Graham Potter is the right man for the job, there’s no denying that his arrivals hasn’t sparked the turn around anyone would have hoped for.
Thankfully, he has managed to end the season on somewhat of a high note with just one defeat in the last four games.
However, despite winning 3-1, I find it hard to say that there was too much to be happy with.
Ipswich, a team relegated weeks ago, are a team the Hammers should be out playing but they failed to do so.
If Ipswich had more creativity in the final third, and took some of their chances, they could have easily got a result.
Although it’s fair to say it was a nothing game, it’s no different to what we’ve seen all season from our Irons. No matter the opposition, we just never look convincing.
Ultimately, it’s irrelevant as a lot of the players who played won’t be here much longer, and the replacements brought in should help Potter move us in the right direction. Keyword being should.
The only thing left to say is: thank God that this shambles of a season is over with. Collectively, let’s just agree that the whole 2024/25 season never happened.
