West Ham plan raid of a newly promoted and a relegated team.
West Ham have been linked with a ridiculous amount of players already for this transfer window, but there’s been talks about players from a couple of clubs in particular – namely Burnley and Southampton.
Burnley had an incredible season in the second division, tallying 100 points and boasting one of the best defensive records in Europe.
The Hammers have been desperate to sign CJ Egan-Riley on a free with talks said to be ongoing, while Josh Brownhill is also out of contract. Brownhill is someone the Irons were linked with heavily in previous windows and this could finally be his time to switch claret and blue from the north to the south.
Meanwhile, West Ham are said to be considering Shea Charles, Aaron Ramsdale, Kyle Walker-Peters, and Tyler Dibling.
Understandably, some fans have expressed concerns over the Southampton interest in particular given they’ve just had one of the worst seasons in Premier League history.
