West Ham transfer target available for loan but finances could prevent a deal being reached.
With Mohammed Kudus and Lucas Paqueta both potentially exiting the club this Summer, West Ham will be desperate for a creative player to help feed Bowen and whatever striker is signed.
Although his goals and assist numbers might not be the greatest, Jack Grealish has still been a great player for Manchester City. His role has been extremely different under Pep Guardiola, and perhaps hasn’t played to his strengths, but he’s the sort of player that can change games.
While he’d undoubtedly be a superb signing for the our Irons, especially on loan where he could be trialled before a potential permanent purchase, the deal is likely to face some major hurdles.
In particular, he’s one of the highest paid players in the Premier League, meaning the Hammers simply won’t be able to pay his full demands.
Considering that City still hold some interest in Paqueta, there’s the potential for an arrangement to be reached there, but that all depends on the outcome of his case with the FA.
