West Ham are exploring ways in which we can help land a new goalkeeper this summer, its been reported by ExWHUEmployee.
Following the release of Lucasz Fabianski this summer, after the expiration of his Hammers contract having been at the club since 2018, it’s been expected that the club would look to bring in a new goalkeeper to challenge Areola.
As had previously been exclusively reported by our insider Ex, the club hold a firm interest in Chelsea duo Robert Sanchez and Djordje Petrovic, with the west London club known to be eager to offload players, whilst Aaron Ramsdale is also a name that appears to be on the list also.
Our insider has revealed that West Ham are exploring the loan opportunities for this position, with a view of aiming to strike a deal which could well be a loan with an option to buy the following summer, to help aid our financial position during this transfer window.
“We are being strongly linked to Sanchez, Petrovic and Ramsdale, with the club looking at bringing in a new goalkeeper,” stated Ex. “At this stage a loan arrangement would make more sense for the club, with then the possibility of an option to buy included in any deal made.”
In other news, Ex also advised that the club are only keen on selling Nyef Aguerd this summer, with Marseille, Bayer Leverkusen and Real Sociedad said to be in a 3-way battle for the defender.
A loan would have to have a ‘ridiculous fee’ for West Ham to even consider it, it was reported by Ex.
