West Ham are set to lose yet another vital player this Summer, Fabrizio Romano has revealed.

Although it’s still extremely early, West Ham fans are already getting frustrated with the lack of signings.

The message the club have repeatedly presented is that they must sell before they can buy due to PSR. How true this is remains up for debate, it seems like they are sticking to their guns.

While it seems like almost the whole squad is up for sale, the Hammers simply can’t replace them all in one window with a small budget.

Unfortunately, it seems like Emerson has been added to the list of players who will almost certainly depart in the coming months. Fabrizio Romano wrote to his X followers to confirm this news. “Understand Emerson Palmieri and West Ham are planning to part ways this summer. Several clubs already started moving for Emerson as Graham Potter has already informed the player about approval to let him leave.”

With Ollie Scarles starting to make his way consistently into the starting XI, Emerson can probably sense that his time as a key player for the club is coming to an end. At nearly 31-years-old, this window could present his last chance to get a big move away.

The Italian has been absolutely incredible for the Irons over the past few years, with his performance in Prague being one of the greatest individual displays in claret and blue many have ever seen. Hopefully he can get that massive move to his home country that he deserves.
