Nayef Aguerd sale could kick start West Ham’s transfer window with German giants lurking.

The message coming out of the club is that, due to PSR, West Ham can not buy players before they sell. Luckily, there’s plenty of players the club want to get rid of, with some potentially having substantial fees.

While Lucas Paqueta and Mohammed Kudus are obviously the two most valuable assets for sale, Nayef Aguerd is also a hot commodity.

Despite not being the right fit for the Premier League, the Moroccan has enjoyed an unbelievable season in Spain which saw him as part of one of the strongest defences in the league.

According to reports, Bayer Leverkusen are leading the way to sign the defender, with the Hammers hoping to get around £25 million for his services.

Ideally, after the season he’s had, I’d be hoping for a bit more than that, but either way it’s a substantial amount of money which could kick start our spending.
