West Ham have scouted 20-year-old Senegal defender El Hadji Malick Diouf, it’s been reported by ExWHUEmployee.
As the club continue to work on offloading certain players this summer to help fund a rebuild, works are very much underway on the recruitment of players which have been identified by Graham Potter and Kyle Macaulay.
Reporting on The West Ham Way Patreon, club insider Ex advised that the club were recently scouted players at the recent England match, with Senegalese defender El Hadji Malick Diouf a player who is of serious interest.
“Scouts were at the England v Senegal game to watch Habib Diarra who is attracting strong interest from Leeds at the moment as well as other clubs,” stated Ex.
“Whilst watching him they were also following up some initial interest in defender El Hadji Malick Diouf of Slavia Prague (the same club Soucek and Coufal were signed from).
“Diouf is a 20 year old defender and played the full 90 minutes against England. We also were keeping an eye on left back Ismail Jakobs although he didn’t get on the pitch.”
