West Ham lose out on big transfer fee due to Sunderland.
Still, the Hammers are waiting for their players to be bought before they can sign anyone else.
Although Mohammed Kudus is easily their most valuable commodity, he’s not near a move away as it stands. Fortunately, Nayef Aguerd’s potential departure is much closer to being completed.
It was reported earlier in the week that Roma had actually submitted a bid for the Moroccan, however this deal is unlikely to happen now.
According to reports, Roma’s former director of football Florent Ghisolfi was the one pushing for the move, but he’s now on his way to Sunderland. Others at the top of the Italian club are not so keen on the defender, largely due to the fact he’ll be missing for a substantial amount of time due to AFCON.
Hopefully, one of the many other interested clubs can make a move for him soon, but it’s extremely frustrating having to wait for any movement at the moment.
