West Ham hope to agree a deal soon for El Hadji Malick Diouf, its been reported by ExWHUEmployee.
As has been reported exclusively by our insider on The West Ham Way Patreon previously, Graham Potter see’s Diouf as the clubs number one target for the position of left-wing-back, with the club hoping to get a deal struck with Slavia Prague.
Ex has now provided an update on the current state of play, with the players omission from the first team signaling a deal is getting close.
“We will continue to have talks with Slavia Prague over the signing of El Hadji Malick Diouf, with the initial interest in the player being exclusively revealed on our Patreon, along with most potential targets this year,” stated Ex.
“The club are hopeful they may be able to agree a fee soon with the club from Czechia placing him on his own individual training programme in light of a potential transfer to West Ham.”
Furthermore, Ex provided an update on West Ham’s chase of Parma goalkeeper Zion Suzuki, with talks still ongoing.
“We asked for an update on Zion Suzuki’s situation,” added Ex. “Once more our interest in the player was expressed and stated that we had already met with the player’s representatives.
“It was felt this could be a difficult deal to get over the line, despite the club admitting a long term interest in the Japanese international and positive constructive talks with the player’s representatives.”
