Tim Steidten takes massive dig at West Ham owners.
Despite being a great window on paper, Tim Steidten’s disastrous Summer wasn’t fully realised until months into the season. Big money signings proved uninspiring, and things were even worse behind the scenes.
However, what Steidten did well was keep the board in check and take some power away from them which can only be seen as a positive.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, the German has taken a massive swipe at the owners in a recent interview without name dropping. “It’s a difference like night and day,” he said to Sky Sports Germany. “In Germany, clubs are clearly structured. In England, on the other hand, many clubs are run by owners. The owner not only brings in his money, but is also very emotionally involved.”
Unfortunately, the board is back at the forefront of all business and it’s already been seen with the Mohammed Kudus deal how well that’s going down with fans.
