West Ham are now set to ramp up our pursuit of Leicester City goalkeeper Mads Hermansen, its been reported by ExWHUEmployee.

As has been reported previously, Graham Potter has made clear he wants to bring in a new goalkeeper, following the release of Lucasz Fabianski at the end of last season, with Hermansen seen as a key target.

Reporting on The West Ham Way Podcast, our insider Ex has advised that the pursuit of the Danish international is now set to intensify in the coming days.

“Now that we have both goalkeeper coaches in, we will move for a goalkeeper, as we have always maintained Leicesters keeper Mads Hermansen is our top target,” stated Ex. “Casper Ankergren, the new coach, is credited with his development. This was even mentioned in the keeper coaches announcement video.”

Ex has advised that although West Ham are set to move soon for the player, no bids have been made as of yet.

Our insider also advised that there is interest in other goalkeepers, should the move for Hermansen prove unsuccessful.

“We hold serious interest in Zion Zuzuki of Parma, but he expected to stay in Italy for a year,” added Ex. “We also like Michael Zetterer of Werder Bremen.

“There are two goalkeepers to add to potential targets if we can’t get Hermansen done and they are Senne Lammens of Club Brugge, and Michael Cooper of Sheffield United.”
