Pundit blames Graham Potter for poor West Ham atmosphere.

When people complain about the London Stadium, they talk about the commute, the distance from the pitch, the distance between the stands, but the real problem for many is the atmosphere. If the Hammers’ home was bouncing every other week, very few would voice so many concerns.

While it’s a hard fix, Tony Cascarini believes it’s Graham Potter’s job to improve the atmosphere.

“I went two or three times before the end of the season,” he told talkSPORT. “You arrive at Westfield, and all the bars are really busy; it’s really vibrant. You get in the stadium, it’s flat!”

“It gets sucked out of the fans. Potter has got to win over the fans with the type of football as well.”

Unfortunately, I couldn’t disagree more. Yes success plays a part, but even when we’ve been feeling like we could beat anyone previously, the atmosphere only picked up for big occasions.

Until big structural changes are made to the stadium, the match day experience will stay the same.
