West Ham Academy defender Michael Forbes is joining Kevin Nolans Northampton Town on a season long loan, its been revealed by ExWHUEmployee.

As the club continue talks with various parties over possible incoming players this summer, our insider has revealed that the club have sanctioned the highly-rated defender to link up with former captain and assistant boss Nolan for the 2025/26 season.

“We can exclusively reveal that Northern Irish defender Michael Forbes will be joining Kevin Nolan at Northampton Town on a season long loan,” stated Ex on The West Ham Way Patreon.

“The 21 year old one called Northern Ireland international has had loan spells at Bristol Rovers and Colchester although he didn’t play for the later as it was cut short by an injury.

“We will update you on all other transfers either today or tomorrow where we expected a couple of bids to go in. Although the outcome of the Paqueta case could be crucial to who they are for. So we won’t update till the verdict is known.”
