Sean Moore and Patrick Kelly have left West Ham United on permanent transfers this week.

Republic of Ireland International Sean More has moved back to his homeland. He has joined League of Ireland champions Shelbourne FC. He joined the Hammers from NIFL Premiership side Cliftonville in 2023. Over two seasons, Moore made 56 appearances for the development side, scoring ten goals as the U21s finished in second and fourth place in Premier League 2.

Patrick Kelly joined the club from Coleraine a year before Moore signed. The Northern Ireland U21 international played 18 times for West Ham’s U18s and 28 times for the U21s, scoring three goals and registering eight assists in total. He also started in all but one round as the U18s became FA Youth Cup champions for the fourth time in 2023.

The 20-year-old spent last season on loan at Doncaster Rovers as they won League Two. He will play in League Two next season, but for Barnsley, where he signed a three-year deal with an option of a fourth.

The club wished the players the best of luck in the future.
