West Ham are becoming confident of striking a deal to sign Mads Hermansen, it has been reported by ExWHUEmployee.

It was reported exclusively by our insider that the Leicester City goalkeeper is a key target this summer for Graham Potter and Kyle Macaulay, with talks been ongoing for a number of days as we aim to sign the highly-rated Danish international.

Reporting on The West Ham Way Patreon, club insider Ex provided the latest on the situation, with the club hoping to get a deal completed for the player.

“It now appears that the club feel confident that they will be able to get a bid accepted for Hermansen,” stated Ex. “Originally the two clubs were a long way apart in their evaluations with Leicester wanting a lot more than we valued him at.

“We are said to value the player around £18-£25m whereas Leicester are looking for closer to £30m. There has been a little bit of a stalemate over the price but it seems that the club feel confident they will be able to come to an agreement soon.

“This deal at this time appears easier to complete than the Susuki deal despite trying to get this done.

“We won’t sign both keepers but the one which makes the better deal and it is appearing that Hermansen is the most likely.

“The player is keen to join the club and our new keeper coach is credited with developing him as a player at Brondby and hopes they will be reunited soon.

“Talks will continue with both Leicester City and also Palma over Suzuki this week.”
