West Ham’s move for unbelievable  midfielder is back on.

Edson Alvarez has some really great qualities. He’s hard working, committed, can put in a good tackle but, at the same time, he’s slow, a red card waiting to happen, and full of mistakes.

Unfortunately, for a club like West Ham, finding the perfect replacement for Declan Rice was always going to be impossible. However, signing a proven Premier League player who is unanimously rated would be a great step in the right direction.

After reports that the deal wouldn’t happen, it seems like West Ham have been given a lifeline in their attempt at signing Douglas Luiz.

The Brazilian has had little success at Juventus, and he’s keen on moving back to England in order to restart his career.

Not only is he superb defensively, but he’s excellent going forward and would be the perfect player to improve their midfield.
