West Ham hit a major roadblock in their pursuit of Jacob Ramsey.
Now Mads Hermansen is a Hammer, West Ham’s full attention is on signing a midfielder or two. It’s been reported by our own ExWHUEmployee that two of top targets are Jacob Ramsey and Mateus Fernandes, both of which would be great options.
However, signing the former may come with some complications.
It’s been claimed by various outlets that Aston Villa may have changed their stance on Ramsey. He was apparently keen on staying at his boyhood club, but initially Villa said they would like to move him on due to not being able to give him much game time.
Now, it seems the Villains are willing to offer him a new contract, a huge blow to our Irons’ chance of signing him.
Fortunately, there is one bizarre glimmer of hope. For once, the hated Will Salthouse could actually be the saviour as he is Ramsey’s agent.
We all know about his relationship with David Sullivan, and this could play a massive role in deciding his future.
