Reports of a dressing room bust up following our loss to Sunderland yesterday have been denied, it’s been reported by ExWHUEmployee.
In what was a disastrous start to the season, with West Ham collapsing to a 3-0 loss to a newly promoted side has quite rightly created fury amongst fans and all connected with the club.
Rumours circulated online following the defeat of a bust up in the West Ham dressing room, however our inside Ex has advised that he has it on good authority that this incident did not occur.
“We have both been sent a tweet about an incident in the West Ham dressing room at the end of the game,” stated Ex on Patreon following the loss.
“Since we have been in the car home, I have spoken to two members of the playing staff who are both unaware of any such incident.
“As it stands it seems like the story has been fabricated.
“The five different sources who told me it isn’t true include four friends of mine and one source. Two of the friends were in the dressing room, two are close to people in the dressing room and the other is involved in media work.
“These people would tell me if true and have no reason to lie, like the times they told me there was a bust up.
“Potter did the post game interviews as did Bowen. If Potter was “running for his life” as some have described it, he managed to control it for those interviews.
“West Ham clearly have big problems and I would like to think strong words were exchanged in the dressing room after that performance. However reports of police interventions into fights between the manager and various people are not true in this incident.”
