West Ham are not in the market to sign Jamie Vardy this summer despite reports suggesting otherwise, its been reported by ExWHUEmployee.
The club are currently under much pressure to delivery in the final weeks of the transfer window, especially following a poor start to the season with a heavy loss away to Sunderland.
It’s understood that the club are working on building the midfield, however reports in some quarters of the media have indicated that the club are set to offer a contract to veteran striker Jamie Vardy.
Our club insider Ex however has poured cold water on the reports, with it put to him from a source that the reports regarding Vardy to West Ham are not true.
“We exclusively asked our top source at the club whether we have made a move to sign Jamie Vardy as reported in The Sun today,” stated Ex.
“Whilst we didn’t really believe it ourselves we like to get complete transparency because anything is possible with West Ham transfers.
“When put the question to the club on whether there was any truth in the offer, we got back the answer ‘not true’.”
