Crysencio Summerville’s return from injury could be the boost Graham Potter is so desperate for.

All the talk about West Ham this season has been about the struggles in midfield and how much we need to sign a couple of midfielders in the final days of the transfer window.

However, another huge problem in the team is the lack of pace; there isn’t one player in the team that you would say has blistering pace. But that could change after the International break

Dutch winger Crysencio Summerville is likely to return to the squad after the International break, which means he is likely to be back to face Spurs.

Even if we lose both our games before the break, Graham Potter is likely to be in charge after the International break, and Summerville coming back could really help.

However, the 23-year-old is a left-winger and there is no space for him in the current system, unless he plays as a wing-back. However, he won’t make a game-changing impact there.

If Potter wants to get the best out of Summerville, he has to change his system, but to be honest, if he wants to keep his job, he’s going to change to change it sooner or later anyway.
